I bought my home back in Oct. of 2003. It was a nightmare from the get go. I was called by my realtor and told an amount to bring to the closing. Well it was around $300.00 I had to bring, which I DID! We get to the "table" to sign the papers officate everything and then the title company lady comes in to talk to my realtor. Guess what? Somewhere somehow they didn't add the escrow into my loan!? Oops on their part, yeah right.

They looked at me at what should have been my greatest moment ever and told me I needed to come up with 900.00 more because the underwritter made an error and didn't get enough to finance the escrow for my taxes! Yeah there I sit with the previous owners, my realitor, the title lady and tears start to stream down my face.

They sat there and tried to figure out a way we could get past it. Yep you guessed it. Take out the money that was supposed to be counted as escrow and then I could pay the taxes myself. Well that was all fine and dandy. The first few months I became ill and yeah did I forget to tell you...they don't offer disability insurance to new home owners!! Get that one.

Well to cut it short I got help from a non-profit agency where I live...Very greatfull!! Well they sent in the money and guess what Countrywide did...they posted it to the account and then reversed the payments!!! which by the time I made the payment I could finally pay that put me behind 120 days late on my home loan.

It gets better...I did't have no notice to forclose, they threatened but when the money came in they just let it sit there and then to reverse my payments I got help with? I too have called many times about getting a escrow account set up. Well they couldn't because the winter taxes which I was responsible for didn't get paid that they need to be up to date.

Well single mother of three, working my tush off finally trying to get back on track, they kept throwing me off track. I finally got disability insurance from an outside company. But get this now my house went into future forclosure in Feb if my taxes weren't caught up.
Well I got remarried in Dec. of last year and with my new husbands income not so bad credit, my income and ok credit and the big speel they can help anyone with good or not so good credit is a bunch of bull**!!!

They wouldn't even consider me and my husband and get this I kept getting emails saying call it's your mortgage anniversary and you could use the equity in your home to refinance. Yeah, ok, well aaa...I just did that you are still sending me these letters??? But now I am on short term disability for my neck, keeping in total contact with these people, phone, net you name it.

Well you talk to one person, make arraingements, then you get this letter stating something different...well call back and get a totally different answer...now they have come to my "rescue" because the county was putting a lien on my home for the taxes that should have been there in escrow for me!!!

Great well payments are going to double if not triple....my insurance for the house doesn't kick in for another 5 weeks yet and ahhh they are going to want $800.00 probably in the next week or so.....trying to get problems taken care of and still getting nowhere.

Because we had our credit checked so many times trying to refinance our home to pay the taxes get a lower interest rate and all into one loan not an 80/20 loan...they keep pulling the wool over my eyes, they think they are....but I needed to vent about this and feel it's very unfair they have done this to my credit not to mention the fact of all the late charges they have because of the situation I was in and they reversered my payments.

All we wanted to do was refinance with a little money for the taxes have an escrow there for the new loan and be done with it....I hope someone somewhere can help us. We're raising three girls right now and we don't need to be tossed out of our home because they cheat people in the first place...thank you for your time in reading my report.
